I know this plant isn't hardy - but I do love it!

LOVE IT ... we simply forgot to get the seeds for this year :( But it has reminded me to scribble on my shopping list for next year

Where do you get seeds please, Mrv? I haven't seen any, so I end up buying a plant each year!

Hi Spritzhenry. The last time I saw seeds was from a seller on eBay ... Couldn't see any on there at the moment though ... maybe they are a bit trickier to get hold of than I'd imagined at the moment... damn.
Having said that - the seeds that you can buy are not 'true' chocolate cosmos (Cosmos Atrosanguineus), just copy-cats and wannabes - the plant is extinct in the wild. All true chocolate cosmos are vegetative clones from the same plant (for about the last hundred years) and are self-sterile.
Make sure you over-winter safely and do a little research on when the best time to propogate would be. You could have as many as you like then :)
Although ... if all else fails I'll be trying 'Pied Piper' for next year:
