I haven't seen this before either its gorgeous, leaves look like a laburnum.

It look slike a pink laburnum but flowers for about 3 months

I have had 2 of them for several years and winter never harms them. Also its a much prettier pink then this pic shows and can be grown as large shrubs.

Well if they survived last winter must be tough, looking for a couple of new tree's/ shrubs for a couple of gaps where two lavateria died over winter, definitely going to look out for this one, going on favourites:-)

Andrew posted a pic today/yesterday of a similar looking flower/shrub you might want to look at that Spireas are also worth consideration.
