Rhododendron subarcticum Study

The blossoms are a bit more wild looking but that rhodo shape is unmistakable. The thick leaves have a strong earthy scent that gets stronger through the summer.

TY Lauram and Clarice. Smaller by far, but I think they still make a great spring bloom which comes here around midsummer.....lol.

I like this one a lot & prefer the blossoms to those of the more typical rhodo.
