Gate trough replanted.

The violas were looking very 'tired'...so I replanted the trough today with diascia and begonia semperflorens.

It makes a change to have 'soft' colours after bright yellow & purple since last autumn! Those violas were fantastic value, lasting so long! I can't see this lot lasting 10 months, can you? lol.

The gate is in the shade of the horse chestnut tree for most of the day, so I had to use plants that would cope with that. I'm fed up with using Busy-Lizzies - fuchsias would have been good, but the trough isn't really big enough to take them.
