Thank you Mageth, and that's what I am trying to achieve. Andalucia have open patio's/courtyards, like we have our open gardens here. Next year, I'm hoping to go to Cordoba, to see their open patio's/courtyards........ I need to think of new projects and colour for my open garden each year, but by next year, I would have run out of ideas I think LOL !!!

Wow It does look very Spanish Louis, how have you managed to water all these during the heatwave? It must be a full time job;-)

Thank you Bornagain. The best wo water all my pots is by using a watering can, and it takes me at about an hour to water them all. Pleased to say, that didn't have to water them as we've had some good showers.......Phew, I'm tired already LOL

Have you not had a heat wave where you are louis? Here I've spent hours watering each day as so many still in pots though buried in borders and all other pots and newly planted things, I was so pleased when it poured down...a day off watering, although I would like the heatwave back now lol:-)

Yes Ba, we've also had a heatwave, so had to water the plants every day, sometimes early in the morning and evening. Please to have had showers yesterday and the whole of today...........Like you, now I want the sunshine back LOL :-) I think the weather's going to be nice for the weekend, so get cracking ready to start watering your garden again, and again LOL !!!

Oh I hope so Louis, I've got things to plant too but it's also strong winds here and some torrential downpours..not good for my plants and I'm worried about my canna durban which has great big flower stalks ready to burst into bloom and don't want them broken by strong gusts:-)

Same here Ba, we've had and still having strong winds since yesterday. The flower on my Cleopatra Canna is looking a bit sorry for itself, as it's been battered with the winds and the showers...... If you can bring your canna to a sheletred place, please do so .......... :-)

I put all three in the ground:-(

You can lift them up at the end of the season, and put them in a box with compost, ready for next year, but do not water the compost over winter as they might rot...
