I'm so jealous, I also have this Clematis but this year it only has one puny stem and half a dozen sickly looking leaves but at least it has one lovely flower. I think it only flowered out of desperation to set seed and preserve itself in one form or another.

thats a shame cestrian, maybe you will get some later summer when it has new growth, aparently it flowers end of summer to ;o))
