Lovely yellow berries in autumn lasting right through the winter.

Yes, officially semi-evergreen but mine still had plenty of leaves on by this spring.

:-) interesting (not that I've got any more room, but I can keep it in mind LOL)

Yes, I recently planted 2 more. I have four now. They are just perfect for privacy as they are evergreen and their growth habit is somewhat upright and also quite spreading....perfect!

Looking good...
How long did this take to grow this tall, please Karen ?
Did you plant it as quite a small shrub ?

No TT, it was about five feet tall when we bought it, but it has grown really fast. This will be its third year now. At first it grew quite upright, but latterly it has started to spread a lot more which is good for hiding us from the neighbours. I have four of these now, they are such great value. Even though they were almost defoliated in this last winter, they still came through in great condition. The berries are yellow/orange and last right through the winter.

Thanks for the info...
I guess in milder winters they might hold on to some foliage..
