Our favourite spot to sit with coffee or supper and watch the wildlife, in the shade.

oh that's lovely. Cool, but open. Shaded, but not closed off.

Thanks Fran . . it's certainly our favourite place in the garden (and built single-handedly by my OH!)
And Karen . . it now has Jasmine climbing up the left-hand side, and Clematis Montana all over the right-hand side. Time for another photo in Spring perhaps?!

Fran - according to him, I drew a sketch of a bus shelter! He just put 4x4 uprights 12 feet apart (across) and 6 feet from the back fence. That's because trellis can be bought in 6ft panels. Beams were nailed to the top of the trellis on both sides, across the top at the back, and across the top at the front to join the uprights. Then a beam across the middle (from side to side) to support a roll of "willow" which was then fixed across the top . . ta da!

thansk, I'm going to copy that to Word ans tudy it at length
i'm glad it's not from a kit, that means the size can be adapted to various garden sizes.
