Many of the Silk tree are blooming now. It can grow tall and very wide in time. This is a very hardy blooming tree. Photo taken July 5, 2010.

There is now a red flowered form out there..gives Delonix a run for the money..and is hardy.

I've seen some. The variety chocolate is so, so very popular.
