These are the most common garden butterfly, and they are big and lovely. Flitting in and out all through the day.

TY. I love these, and love having so many. Now the dragonflies are starting to fill the evenings. Wonder if I can manage a shot. They are always in air, hunting.

TY OB. There have been so many. I just saved one from a web in the delphiniums just now. Just caught at the tip of the wing. I couldn't watch it flutter around until the spider came. I hope it did well after getting free.
San, I love the dragonflies that they eat our mosquitos, in flight they are just hunting other flying bugs. I love that just enough to let them flit around and never sit still for me. LOL!
