Thanks Michaella and Carole.The Penstemon is quite old now,and had to cut away a lot of dead wood,so much smaller than usual,but the Lavender is huge this year.

Not only do we have the same taste in bird feeders, we also have the same plants, Carol ! I think the Penstemon I have is ' Garnet ' which looks very like yours. Hang on, I'm just going out to check you haven't pinched my plants and feeder ... lol ! !

Oh,drat,Shirley,you noticed !! Thanks for naming the Penstemon,another cutting I had given..I don't buy many plants,as most of them are cuttings from ones I have had given,..or politely begged for.Lol.I have a mania for propagating,..whether I need them or not ...:o))
