Thanks everyone... : O ))
yes Dawn they are all on one plant..... but the plant on the other side as in the blog is all pink.... funny isnt it as it must all be the same soil.........

Very lovely! I love the Blue Hydrange, but I have no luck growing them! I've had one for 4 years now, that grows well, but refuses to flower! Every year I debate digging it up. Guess I'll give it another year! Maybe I should just get another one. Yours is beautiful. Do you dry them? They are easy to dry.

Thanks The rose lady...... glad you like them.... hope you have some luck with yours..... these belong to my mother who is 85... she has never dried them.....

thanks Holly, like Sixpence says, I was told the colour of the flower can be determined by the soil, but I guess that's not true in all cases. They would be stunning dried.

my mother is always on about cutting them down...as they are so big.. but ive told her to leave them as they are so lovely.... : O ))

18 Jul, 2010

I wouldnt be able to cut them down either Holly, they are stunning. They must have the perfect conditions in that spot.

they must have dawn... theyve been there at least 26 years since mum and dad moved there.... mums on her own now and is 85 and has a man who does some gardening for her.... i cant understand why the left hand side ones are pink and right hand side ones multi coloured... strange isnt it.....

It is odd but they are beautiful. What's the soil like?

18 Jul, 2010

18 Jul, 2010
