Banana Plant

Fantastic. Where did it come from, a garden centre? I dont see anything like this about. I love it

Hi Minihoney. This plant was given to me by my next door neighbour who bought it from the N E C garden exhbition a few weeks ago. It's name is Musa Sikkimensis. I have been told they grow 6ft per year.

oh wow, i presume he's in a pot to kerb his growth? do you know by how much??

I have planted in a bigger pot than it arrived in . It is in a pot bcause my garden is part of the old river Nene bed and is mostly silt and sand. the pot is to retain moisture.
