Black Hollyhock

That's so beautiful. I grew some from seed last year, planted them in the garden and they have disappeared! I will definitely try again.

Thanks Gee ... I usually have big trouble with hollyhocks & rusty leaves but this one seems to be better.

I planted this during the spring..but it has stayed very small??

I put this in last year & it didn't flower ... then I forgot it was black & thought it was going to be yellow! I have another one by the greenhouse & that's only 2 ft high & just budding up.

Thanks B8 ... I forgot hollyhocks flower all the way round their stem & a lot of the blooms are facing over the fence to nowhere!

think its just the light shining on yours fluff which makes it seem not so black, mine saded by other plants,

Hey hey San ... you found it! It should be in the light ... it's about 6ft high! ;o))

mine tall but flowers are starting from the bottom lol
