My little one is slightly ahead of yours ... but it won't be long before those tiny little flowers appear on yours.

Beautiful coloured leaves! is it a rellation of the Poinsettia?

My old one kept blooming February or March, too. I wonder if they really bloom in December in their native Mexico, or if that's a myth, too?

Poinsettias naturally bloom in winter. In Oz, they are kept in dark cupbords to hold off flowering until Christmas (which of course is summer for us).
