These are the sunflower seedling from the seed Gerry sowed early this year. They form three rows alongside his runner beans.

You are quite right, PP! :-) We have a lot of things growing on it & have started to harvest a few things. Today I picked a lot of Gooseberries & Blackcurrants, but what to do with them? Make a couple of puddings with crumble topping? Can you suggest a recipe?

This will be a fantastic sight when they start to open and the birds will be flocking in the autumn, it looks as though the allotment is proving to be a very successful project;0)
