This has completely changed since last year. Mr CG created a couple of rustic frameworks for climbing roses. Lots of raspberries & strawberries were planted right down one side (where the potato bed used to be but was replaced with fruit as the wireworm caused a lot of casualties in the last couple of years). There's onions, shallots, carrots, courgettes, leeks, garlic cloves and squash. Theres also a large rhubarb bed & herb boxes with mint, wild garlic & chives. A new potato bed was created in a corner of "The Orchard" & the tatties are 1st class with no bugs.

Thanks Janey - we got a great crop of strawberries. Having started with only 6 plants last year we took off about 50 runners in the autumn which gave us all this years plants. The rasp. canes were all new this year so main crop will be next. There's 300+ onions growning (sets, shallots & kelsae mammoth) & we've started harvesting the garlic cloves :o)
