Thanks San....Ian made it when I was visiting Jim in Oz.......he said it worked out at about £50 altogether. Hopefully next summer there will be roses over the arch...I've planted a New Dawn and my lovely Graham Thomas....may move my peach one to here to bring the colours together...:o)

thats a great price on wood janey, baz priced it up at wood yard and said double that ;o( it will look lovely with roses thats for sure, im going to shop around for wood prices when i get chance,,,

Ian says thanks Amy!!...:o) He got a lot of the wood from Wickes San, with the rest from a local woodplace. Have a look on the internet...:o)

Well done OH, will look fabulous clothed in roses, we have New Dawn on ours and Albertine and Compassion on one of the others.

I want a trellis fence with arch like this one, to divide from the back garden from the non-driveway side garden. Have been attempting to draw pics for my OH, as he will put it up for me .... & I'm not a great artist lol. Have saved this pic to show him the kind of thing I would like to have ...... & it will have roses & honeysuckle clambering over the walls & arch. Great job Ian!

is this new janey, did hubby make it for you, im still awaiting mine grrr, all i get is,, well it costs £100 for wood alone,,,, and! thats what i say hahah, summer will be over before i get mine,
