Agapanthus (White Flowered African Lily)

Lovely Dawn, one of my favourites.

i only have leaves this year dawn, wonder why

Thanks Bob, I prefer the blue but hey ho.
I only got mine last year Sandra so I've not had much experience with them.
Bob, any ideas why Sandra's hasnt flowered this time.

Yes Dawn, I do also tend to veer towards the blue one but still a beautiful flower. Many I protected in the winter at various properties are flowering well, one big one outside all winter has no flowers I will divide it and see if I get better results. Difficult to say why Sandra's hasn't flowered.

White is nice Dawn , I have a blue one it caught the winter frosts and is only now shooting it's leaves up so will be luckyif I have any flowers this year :o(

i may move it into sunny possiton for next year dawn and doctorbob, see if that helps, maybe it was the frost on mine to amy ;o(

Sandra i put mine in greenhouse over winter.

really carol, mine in ground though so would have to pot them, might give it a go

I'm surprised mine survived the cold temperatures this Winter but its done well. Good luck with yours Sandra, I'll try and remember to give mine a mulch when it dies down to give it a bit of protection.
