Ahh, bonnie Alaska GT. Doubt I'll ever get to fish for those big Alaskan salmon though. It's just how I picture it in my dreams :o)

Salmon fishing here is a real spectacle Tcg. People line up along the streams, but this year the King count was low and late and there was some restriction. Silvers where beautiful though. I had one friend take a charter to dipnet (literally scoop the salmon out with a net.....lol) and that fresh deep red was some of the best salmon flavor I've ever had, though smaller than a king. :-) I live here and haven't gone fishing yet....lol.

lol....season has closed. The runs are finished. Maybe I'll dipnet one day, but I'm not going to be buying any fishing equip to go once. :-) Can't haul in a salmon with any old fishing gear......:-)
