Garden mosaic

This all looks very intresting what is the basis of it ,looks like a plastic you have cut pieces out of and are decorating.in years gone by it would have been glass and lead.
What part of Gloucestershire do you live ,Iam on the border of South Glos

Hi Bis, this Mosaic is made out of mirror, slate and stained glass on a surface of granite.
I live near Tetbury, where do you live?.

I understand the infill panels and its probably a resin grout but what is the framework that holds it all together ,is it a craft shop product.
Its of interest because i did my apprenticeship in the 50's as a copper smith and tinsmith and have been well used to soldering, brazing and welding all my life.
I recently restored a copper street gas lamp for a friend from a pile of pieces.
I live on the edge of Bristol NE side15/ 20 Min's from Bath.

I use glue to initially hold the pieces before I grout and grout is all that holds it together.
