Suddenly.... I have a lot of those in the garden....they are everywhere.

Lots of these Hoverflies around now, I posted a Blog on them as I knew nothing about their markings etc., feel free to take a look and learn as I did !

We have a lot of them as well ........ last year we were inundated with them ....

Its A Hover Fly Espisyrphus Balteatus the common name is Marmelade Fly;0)

Thanks Carol These are the ones that are nesting under the conservatory window sill, apparently they are not harmful but still feel nervous going out to deadhead my sweetpeas lol

dont worry carole they normally will fly off if you go near or wave at them,defernatly wont sting you, i hate wasps but i dont bother with these or bumbles,
