What a wonderful bloom!!
I'm not sure that I could call it beautiful, but it's so incredibly different!

Mushybanna:
The flowers are almost black-red.
Meanie:
They grow on a long pendulous spike which hand down and bloom and then the sausage-type seed pods develop.

Rbtkew:
They are pretty interesting when you see the many red-black flowers hanging in clusters. Not sure how long it takes for them to bloom...but I think they bloom very young.
I'll find out soon...as I started trees from seed this year.
