Water Buttercup (Giant Spearwort)

Erm yes Homebird .. dont be too disappointed Clarice you really need a pond close to the size of a lake to properly accomodate it .Friends gave us some water buttercup sounds lovely but Giant Spearwort a better description it grew right across our pond in a season.Huge .

Knowing this now we control it better.

I've had a few regrets with setting pond plants with a free rein, ie, no basket - bog bean goes mad, as does water mint and water cress and the native reeds and bulrushes, well, the bane of my life.
