This little butterfly spends it's days flitting amongst the Ivy and Buddleias.

It is Carol.......I wonder why not Tog, I've seen a few of these recently....they do seem to like climbers, the plants I mean...Lol! Don't think we'd see this up a sheer rock face...Ha..ha... maybe once your plants have grown higher up your walls they'll visit....:o)

Lovely photo. I've seen quite a few blues this year Janey. Perhaps the weather being dry has helped them. Don't some of the lava live with the ants?
13 Aug, 2010
Hi Linda......I don't know about that....shall have to have a look about them in the internet......we have had lots of ants especially in the grass, that could explain it. That would be a good story for you Linda....the ants and baby butterflies...:o))

Just putting the Christmas edition of Twinkle together now. Saw one of the Lady's from the Dalberry Lees CPL and she said that they have sold a few copies at the centre and I said how much we had raised and that the Christmas edition was due and that the amount should reach over £200 by the end of the year. I am going to their sale at the end of the year to take some book to sell as well.

That's very encouraging Linda....well done...:o) Your illustrations were wonderful....I'm sure they'll go like hotcakes...:o)

Thanks Fractal....that's right it is and it spends it's days flying amongst my old Ivy. There is a holly tree in the next garden.....so it is spoilt for choice....:o))
