I think this is 1 of the best Summer plants Janey...it looks so amazing, &
attracts so many Bees & Butterflys..i have not got this plant, must get it,
it just has to be top, on my list, when i go to the GC next time..i just love
this pic Janey, such a wonderful twosome...Verbena & Cabbage white..
I know, this is a shot of the cabbage white, more so than, Verbena, i was
just noticing the lilac on the dainty wings, or is it a reflection of the Verbena
Janey?

Freesia, I have grown my Verbena this year in a pot on the patio and it looks lovely blowing in the breeze among other pots, gonna keep it there now after winter in the greenhouse.I find I lose mine when planted in the border for some reason!!

Thanks Tog, Freesia and Grandmage.....it does have a real beady eye and turquoise too and a furry chin....maybe she's getting on a bit...Lol!
Fp....the verbena is so easy to grow but like you say Grandmage not one to overwinter in the border...mine got their feet too cold and wet too. I will send you a couple Fp.....they love growing in the paving cracks, and all the spots that are dry and free-draining, it is such a smashing plant for attracting insects, I'll pm you....:o)
