I love the way they filled in and covered the front of your porch. I planted hardy kiwi vines that are gradually shading my porch.

Hi TOG, Stevie and Flower. Is it actinidia kolomikta, Fl? The one with the variegated pink, white and green foliage? It is supposed to grow ok here but I've never tried it...I tried the Silver Lace vine first and it didn't make it thro the second winter, and as the actinidia was to be the next "chance" ...I decided to forgo the frustration and stick with the Clematis that wasn't so tetchy! LOL...TOG...they are so puny looking compared with others I've seen on here...but for my climate they are A-OK! Stevie...I read that you can cook the leaves (is it the Greeks who do that?) wonder how they'd taste? I haven't had the nerve to taste one of the fruit yet...the squirrels are thining them out... bet I could make some kind of vinegar with them?!

No I couldn't find the beautiful variegated one at any of my local nurseries. I have the Actinidia arguta. Should bear thumb size fruit in a few years.
