I've had some success with bulbs that are not meant to grow in this climate ... it was lovely to see this Iris blooming.

Thanks Homebird, Camellia and David ... unfortunately I only got this one beautiful bloom as our so-called Winter turned rather warm last month and has remained so! Still at least I did get one bloom.
