thanks Sixpence! I only wish that I could take cuttings successfully~ the stems are quite thick and so far no luck! May try from seed...

What a shame Arlene have you tried stripping most of the leaves off, I was in a little town which has lots of displays even over the shops, one large stem I thought it was the plant it self had fallen off one of the roofs, so I got my daughter to pick it up and the stems were large on that, so I took several cuttings and stripped most of the leaves and cut the flowers off, just left a couple of leaves on each one, they seem to be ok so far.

I just stick mine straight into pot just make sure they stay wet all the time. Sent you a pm about Hywel seen your comment on his page, not seen him on now for ages , I am quite worried about him.
