Sadly, it's tender. This was being grown indoors.

This is the second time I've seen a buttery yellow Buddleia on here, in fact, I've received one today ! It's B. weyeriana ' Sungold 'variety. Scented too.

Is it hardy Shirley?
17 Aug, 2010
Described as fully hardy, can withstand temps, down to -15C (5F).

Yes I have weyeriana sungold grown from a cutting last year, huge this year and survived last winter so must be pretty tough, also have a spring flowering one Globosa? round yellow flowers.

Globosa must be as tough as old boots - it's growing wild around here!

Meanie:
I thought this plant was hardy to at least 25 degrees F/ -3 degrees C. It's naturalized all over California with many other species.

-3 deg c ain't much use around here.
Burncoose web site reads...... "Will grow outside in milder locations - This could include plants which would survive happily in a greenhouse or conservatory if not in a mild location. If you have a sheltered spot in your garden then it may do well here."
