Not seen this before, I assume the palmata is referring to the leaf? It's a funny season, I've got some gold laced primulas throwing out some new buds and not far off flowering

Yes does refer to the leaf, its a good trough plant with a bit of shade and Spreads well. The previous one I had was lost to Vine weevil
