Artemisia and Ladybird

Janey

By Janey

Artemisia and Ladybird (Artemisia (powis castle))

A couple of weeks ago I noticed a few Ladybirds on the Artemisia. Looking closer, the stems were covered with black-fly. Today there are so many Ladybirds and no black-fly to be seen.....:o))

`Who needs Chemicals, when we have these lovely little helpers, doing the
work of ridding pests, Janey? What a wonderful pic, especially of the
Ladybird, you can see the shine on its shell of a body, and even able to count
the spots on its back..LOL

Yes, i do agree Janey..lets hope it stays that way? i was just thinking
& wondering why we have not been unindated with them by now...perhaps
they are still in Hibernation, do not come out until Late Summer..what an
horrible thought..: ~ (((
