The border under the rose trellis, about 20' long, is planted with hardy Osteospermums. They are quite a sight in full bloom.

Spritz, how hardy are Ostespermum? I've just bought 3 white ones, but my book says only hardy to -5 C. I don't have a greenhouse so is it Ok to bring them in the house? The garden centre told us it was a perennial, but I have found to my cost with other plants that to a Hungarian this does not mean that you can leave it in the garden.
