goats are very entertaining...they seem to have a sense of fun. But what they will eat is always amazing. We used to sing a song about Old Hiram's Goat...Think I can remember it... I think it went:
Old Hiram's Goat..
"was a-feelin' fine!..... ate three red shirts,
right offa da line!....Mrs. Murphy, da cook,
She beat him black...and tied him to the railroad track...
Sing au revoir!... but not "Goodbye!" ...'cause that ol' goat
Wasn't doomed to die....
He coughed and coughed...in mortal pain,
Coughed up those shirts...and flagged the train!"
Maaaaaah!

Lovely pic. Speaking of songs, Paddy McGinty's Goat always made me smile :~)

Hmmm they are nice to have around if they behave themselves but being what they are they can hop over things and quite enjoy destroying all my veg, hard work as well as the neighbouring wildlife
