Is there a name for this Sunflower it came up in a packet of normal shaped ones.have seen it before on this site ,prior to mine flowering.

Never grown this one myself, but have seen a similar one on the seed packets of the one called "Teddy Bear". Just a thought.

Funny that, I grew Teddy Bear, ---half were like your picture and the rest usual sun flowers ! ;0))

Thank you everybody Teddy Bear it shall be .I think I prefer it as a flower to the normal Sunflower unless of course you are growing them for seed

Grew this one year and, yes, it was called "Teddy Bear".

"Teddy Bear" is, I find, most often offered by T&M. Did you get your seeds from them?

Lady J. looked the other day,the seeds are all flat presume its not self fertile.

lady J. not as big as some, about the size of a tea plate. i didn't measure it.
Unless the seed is required for the birds i prefer it .
Just as well I collected the tree Peony seed i spotted tonight the pods torn open on the ones still on the plants, the dreaded fluffy tails have found them.they are also busy throwing empty Conker shells to the ground.
