Green Guersey Cream Clematis

I guess this clematis flowered green because it's in a very shady spot. The first year ALL the flowers werew bright lime green, but now (2 years later) only the occasional one is lime.

I have a potted Abilene Clematis that is also in a shady spot. The plant is beautiful and heavy with flowers. They are supposed to be pink, but this spring they are all green.
