It produces fruit which you puree and eat with custard, yummm!

Mmmm sounds different. Like Bloomer, I've never heard of this plant.

It's called Pineapple Guava sometimes, which should give you an idea of what it tastes like! But it's not very sweet to taste so it tastes best when eaten with custard or with added sugar. The plant is very slow growing, but it makes a great hedge. We have two of them.
Not many people have heard of it, but it grows in the wild and you only need to know where to look.

Never heard of this Pip,do the fruit taste like anything we would have,or are they a taste of their own ?.if so,you won't be able to describe them.Lol.
