I am really falling for Hostas! This is my current favourite.

Yes, such a shame slugs like them so much. How do you usually protect them? Sorry to hear yours struggled this year.

When I remember!! I used crushed up egg shells and or coffee grounds. Trouble is I planted a hosta near a rock and I think the slugs get to it via the rock!!

Thanks for the tips! Very helpful. Those wiley slugs will scale anything for their tasty snacks...

Love them too but turned my head and the slugs got them this year.
