im so glad you liked Lampeter. when is joe off? Lilly has been packing all week....shes moving some of her stuff in in on friday.

Looks a good solid place San , it sounds a good town to be in , he will soon be at home and happy there ... Shows how ignorant I am I've never heard of Lampeter . :o(

I love the way you said Beautiful Welsh Countryside. We have, even if I say so myself. Lol. Didn't realise you were visiting last saturday. Thought it was this week. Blimey, how quick the week has gone. Anyway, hope you had a lovely visit. Next time, it's worth a visit to Swansea. We have a lovely City centre, and fab beaches. We have the whole of the Gower Penninsula, and the beaches are fab, the whole way along. We have some very scenic driving down here,and lovely walks, if you are a walker. We also have an Olympic swimming pool, which has been built on one of Swansea Uni's playing fields. Oh, and we have a Museum. Lol. I could go on forever Lol. I think Joe will be VERY happy with his new friends and new home town. :o))

Linda u forgot to mention the cactus collection at singleton park......My Lilly is off to Swansea Met...

Oh sorry Sandra. We also have a place Clyne which is'nt much further down the road from Swansea Met, where they have Clyne in Bloom. The plants and flowers are breathtaking. Theres also a Rhodedendron garden in Singleton Park, and they used to have (I say used to, as I haven't been there for a while) what they called hot-houses. The collections there were fab. We've also got Plantasia, which is on the outskirts of Swansea. You would have passed it as you approach the City from coming off the motorway. There are plenty of places of interest. :o))

thanx sandra, wow lily off on friday thats great, joe starts on sunday 3rd which is fresher day so we go on the 2nd and stay a couple of nights to get him settled in, hoping to drive to pembrokshire if we get chance, so from lampeter sandra which is the best place to head which isnt to far ;o))

lampeter is close to carmarthen and the national botanic gardens...well worth a visit. i am about an hour further west than carmarthen.

Linda...i love clyne park its stunning but its singleton park for me as i love the hot houses....havent been to planasia...maybe on my next visit....

Sandra, Joe will love his studies there, it looks to be in a perfect setting and the time will fly past. In olden days you had to wait for a letter, or a phone call, now it's texts, e-mails and Skype so you'll be able to keep in touch !

yes your right shirley, we talk on msn all the time when he`s at his dads so i know he will be in touch, think its because he is my youngest and beena joy in my life, so will miss him being here,

The whole of the Welsh countryside is lovely Sand. We have a lot of History all around, and I'm sure Joe is going to love it here. Hope you are ok, and Mum is feeling better. Best wishes to Joe, and Christmas is only just around the corner. :o))
