The hosta came through winter well and spread a good healthy set of leaves early spring. It is just starting to flower now, but I think that is coming to late to make it this year.

Most at the nursery have finished already or started a second bloom. This one is far more compact than its partner in the bed across from it, who has been blooming for a few weeks now. I think that bed is just cooler. Its interesting working in a nursery now and watching plants responding to seasonal changes after shipping place to place. Cool and wet anytime could be taken for spring by them. :-)

One of mine is just about to flower now, too. Very late, don't understand why.
