I'm also hoping for a mild winter, When I saw this I had to buy it as it reminds me of my late father he loved this and gave me a cutting but it perished one winter. It does not seem as popular these days but I found it in Morrisons of all places a bargain for £2.

This is lovely.

I had several of these in my front garden. All destroyed in last winter's deep freeze. Hope we have a nicer one this year Cestrian! It's lovely and flowers late with lovely lilac/purple flowers.
