I've got a lovely bunch of coleus...tra la

I took this photo a couple of days ago. This morning I found them upside down in the small border, just behind them, all broken. The wind got up during the night, it's still blowing quite hard now. The worst thing is, if I hadn't forgotten to check if they needed watering yesterday, they would would probably have been ok:-(

beautiful picture, unfortunately the wind is causing a lot of damage, it blew over a double 4ft planter of mine yesterday, we have had to move it into a sheltered spot

Gosh are you plants ok? I suppose my coleus would be finished soon anyway:-)

Thats so annoying Ba....they looked really beautiful before...I love the one with the golden edge!

Hi Janie and Lottie, Ttey looked so good I moved them to this spot near the house about a week ago lol, they'd have been ok where they were:-))

I hate the wind and we've had enough of it this year. Sorry about your plants Ba, they look lovely in the pic and really like the Hydrandea too :-))

Thanks Annella, the two things I hate are, very heavy rain and strong winds. I always feel something bad is going to happen like the roof blow off or something get washed away. Maybe I lived somewhere not so clement in another incarnation lol;-))

Dont they make a lovely splash of colour, its such a pity they got blown over.

I've not grown them outdoors before, but had lots of gaps in borders after makeover and had so many, but these were so well balanced as well, lovely shape lol:-)

It looks a stunning display, sorry it was spoilt by the winds, its been raining here all day and blustery , lotss of plants are looking sodden and bedraggled;0(
