Wonderful bloom love the cheerful colour.

We've had a long conversation going on Dawn which started from a question from Balcony, asking what they were.....then Michaella posted a photo not knowing what they were either....we all thought they were Jerusalem Artichokes....Helianthus tuberosus...but Balc says no and oyrs don't have tubers only roots.....have a look at Helianthus pauciflora....what do you think??

Is it a Rudbeckia Dawn ? There are several different varieties , I have put a photo of one of mine today , not the same as yours but you can see the similarities ..........

it does look like helianthus tuberosus like janey said dawn, helenium i looked up and they have a more prominant rounded centre and this one doesnt, i thought rudbeckia saffron which i have on my mobile as a screen saver, looks identical but when i looked it up on google its not the same, it has a lime centre lol, so many daisy type flowers, but janeys idea looks perfect,

I think Janey is right as well Dawn after comparing the centres with images ... :o)
