Your garden is still very colourful Louise. Mine is going to bed now, although roses and delosperma and some salvias still going well. i really need to add some dahlias next year though!

My brain wasn't with me when i titled this plant because 'this' one is my Drosanthemum and not the delosperma, i've just edited and put the right name there.
'These' are a much smaller plant than the delosperma, the habit, the leaves and the flowers - quite different.
This one is compact whereas the delosperma reaches out, both have a similar colour flower but that's where the similarity ends really - both good for different uses/areas ... i love them :-)))))
Janey, they 'do' get lumped into the ice-plant category.
As long as these keep their feet quite dry they'll tolerate cold temps, last winter the temps were very cold 'for here' and we recorded the lowest at -3 ... albeit for just a few days but they all survived nonetheless !

Yes, now I can see that the leaves are much stubbier than the delospermum!
