I bought this as a tiny plant at the beginning of summer and it has done well. I know Clarice lost hers last year so I will move it into the greenhouse this winter.

You're right, Dorjac, it doesn't really climb but grows upright. I just thread it though the trellis and it has done well. Mine is about 3-4 foot tall now but not very bushy.

I have this plant given to me by my neighbour and was told it was a climbing fuchsia. It has bloomed, but not this year. I have read one or two comments on GOY that it is a tall fuchsia that needs tying in to a trellis but not a climber. This is what the next door has done and his has done very well.It is up a trellis and about 4-5 feet tall and flowering well
