Glory Bush posted for Meanie. This photo was taken at San Diego State University on Oct. 12, 2008. There's many large Glory Bush shrubs on campus. Unfortunately, I don't go there very often however, it has some beautiful gardens and is only located a mile from my house.

These must bloom almost endlessly in the right climate. I've been watching the way that the buds form on mine - two buds form to the side of every bud!

Meanie:
In my opinion the most beautiful Glory Bush trees are planted in the San Francisco Bay Area. I've seen large trees in the S.F. Bay Area that have so many flowers you can barely see the leaves.

In my opinion, the most beautiful Glory bush will be in a conservatory in Oxfordshire UK when it flowers!!!!!!!!!!!

I have one of these in our garden here and I know it as a Princess bush but I'm it's the common name though.
I also have another type of but I don't know the name. It gets a long stem of smaller flowers. They are some of my favorites. They were very late to bloom this yr. because of the lack of sun & w/the water shortage last yr. they haven't done as well as I find they like a good watering but are drought tolerant at the same time.

Yes, it's called Princess flower also. They do tolerate drought, however, love water...and with our continued drought and water-restrictions, it can be difficult to keep it looking really good.
