Mid-Spring Downunder: Caladiums waking up from Winter slumber.

Lovely lot of pictures quite envious, all i have is grey and wet weather

We've had lots of showers of rain and overcast days over our Autumn-Winter here, Bjs ... we're starting to get our usual clear, bright sunny days once again as our Summer approaches. At the moment there's quite a bit of colour in the garden as a result of the atypical weather ... it's lovely.

I really like Caladium. The hybridss have such colorful leaves. I haven't had any for a long time.

Feels pretty much like Summer already, Andy. I wish the nurseries here would stock some more Caladiums apart from the stock standard red!

I'm so surprised you don't have a huge selection there! Almost every color under the sun and variegated leaf is available for sale here.

No Andy ... not much choice up here in my city. I see lovely selections further down south but there's never enough room in my bag that I take on my flight home!!!

Lol, Andy ... not a bad idea! I could put all the plants in my luggage and just have a carry-on bag for myself!
