Beautiful garden ... wish I could get tree ferns to grow here! Too dry and too hot unfortunately.

Hi Mossy
I have just been a tour of your fantastic garden. The walls are beautiful. Is it an old property as the walls are so detailed? I absolutely love the planting.

Hello Linda,
Thank you very much for your comments. It is an end of terrace house built in 1904 with a small garden. The garden was originally just a lawn with a straight flower bed the length of the garden, a hedge of connifer trees and a ghastly shed at the bottom, with derelict wooden fences all around and a concrete patio looking like a bunker. I created my new garden which I designed myself and this year had the new walls and Retreat built. I designed the walls and Retreat, sourced all the materials and supervised and worked with the bricklayer, carpenter and roofer, as I had gone into very deep detail. I put a huge amount of love into this garden. I have made the garden 90 per cent evergreen and I am very happy that you like the planting. Kind Regards, Fabrice.

Just shows what can be done with a tiny space with flair and knowledge of suitable plants. Lots of lovely containers and tasteful ornaments. The paving and paths and the walls and sanctuary are beautifully planned and constructed......really lovely. Lots of ideas for us GoYers to put into our gardens
