This is the 2nd photo I took of Coreopsis basalis Gold King in 10 days, only this time it came out a lot better than the 1st one I took 10 days earlier!

It is a very striking plant as you say! I've never grown Coreopsis. I just don't have room for plants on my balcony that only flower for a few short weeks in the year & then have nothing more to offer. I therefore use bedding plants mostly & ring the changes twice a year. Just started to change summer bedding for winter/spring bedding this week. Got lots of lovely Pansies!
