In this picture you can see all my African Violets in the kitchen window - but seen from outside of our flat.

Thanks, Janey. They have been there for as long as we've lived here - 9 years on November 1st. I don't mean the same plants but their daughters & granddaughters! They are low growing plants & don't ask for hardly any attention. I never pot them into bigger size pots. They stay in the same 3" pots for 2 or 3 years or until they rot when they are replaced by others. I've always got a few replacement plants as they are so easy to root & each leaf produces a couple of new plants which it is possible to separate & pot on. I normally don't bother. They are born & die in the same pot.
